Black Pillars Issue Two

$6. 48 pages. Black and white. 7” x 9”.

Self published in a signed and numbered edition of 100.

Available for preorder here. The comic will ship in mid-February and a digital edition will be available then too. I’ll include extra goodies with the preorders.

This comic follows the same structure as the first issue, with a series of interconnected short stories exploring the appearance of the titular black pillars. Sample pages from several of the stories in this issue are pictured above.

I’m still hard at work on this comic, actually, editing and redrawing to make it even better. But I’m very excited about it, so I decided to go ahead and put it up for preorder. I hope you’ll consider ordering it, and if you do I hope you like it.

Here are some nice things that people wrote about the first issue:

Black Pillars leaves me with the same feeling as when someone interrupts me after I’ve working intensely on a painting for many hours. There’s something in the setting, in the way this issue ends, that leaves me lost in a world of turbulent thoughts, incapable of communicating.” – L Nichols

“Deliberate and mysterious. There’s a there there, it seems.” – Warren Craghead

“A work that guards its secrets well and engages the reader fully over multiple readings.” – Tom Murphy
