I
will be at SPX which is a comic book convention and I will be tabling
with Comics Workbook at N8. Look for longboxes and blue shirts. I’d really love to talk with you. I
will have some “show debuts,” all pictured above and described
below:

Read
and Erase:
A
self-published ‘spiritual sequel’ to Ley Lines: For Lives.
Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas talk to you about death, memory,
and the differences between making art and living life. Czap Books
and Grindstone Comics kindly allowed me to imitate a few elements of
the Ley Lines series for this, but I published it myself. Right now
this is my favorite comic I’ve ever made. 24 pages, risograph printed in green by Issue Press.

Muscle
Memory:
A
collaboration with Kimball Anderson about repetition, cooking, and
mentorship. 32 pages, full color. Really proud of how seamlessly we were able to integrate
our voices on this one.

Some
Comics:
A weird
collection of the project I’ve focused on throughout 2016 and
almost never mentioned online. Includes 150+ pages of new comics work and
some original art (sneak peak of interiors in third image above). Like getting a mysterious package in the mail.
Very limited quantities.

Plus
older work, some of which might not be on the table but which you can
ask for if you want it.

I’ll
also be at RIPE in Providence, RI the weekend after SPX. So I’ll
briefly get to experience how exhausted most comics people must feel
all the time.
