Some of the early building blocks for Muscle Memory, my recent collaborative comic with Kimball Anderson.
We both did drawings based off text and rough layouts from Kimball, following an initial discussion about some of the themes we hoped to address. Then we worked together to collage the elements into a single piece that hopefully builds towards a conclusion. It was hard to know how to make things fit right. Then we both wrote some more text, and I did the final lettering.
