I just finished a new comic. It is called A Beautiful March Day, and it is loosely based on a short story of the same name written by Italo Calvino. You can also read the original story online, though it’s a slightly different translation than the one I referenced. I tried to strike a balance between adhering to the original text and creating something that was original and could stand on its own. I have no idea if I succeeded.
I’ve loved almost everything I’ve read by Calvino, by the way, so I would encourage you to give his books a try if you haven’t. I suggest starting with If on a winter’s night a traveler.
