I spent this month on corrections, essentially – finalizing some stories and revising others. I’m cutting pages and redrawing and rewriting with a particular focus on improving the endings to my strips. I want them to be tighter and better and truer, which so far has meant making a few different versions and then picking the one that works best. Should a good ending naturally reveal itself, if a work is well-structured? I’m not sure. But the revised work is better overall, which feels good. The downside is that it’s harder to feel like things Got Done.
