I have two long, newish pieces of work online for you to read.
I just finished Under False Pretenses, a project that adapts twelve books or stories by Italian novelist Italo Calvino into something that perhaps resembles a biography.
Around the same time last year, I finished Ghosts, a piece of fiction about family and remembering.
It had been a while, prior to these projects, that I posted significant new work online rather than print it. It’s nice. The work sits there, and I wonder if anyone ever reads it. Sometimes, presumably, they do.
