Les Autres Gens is a french anthology of connected stories written by Thomas Cadène and a few others and drawn by a large number of mostly younger cartoonists (you might know some of them; Boulet is in there, as are Bastien Vivès and Manuel Fior). Each cartoonist focuses on a separate character. It was originally published online with the stories only available through a paid subscription model (about $3.50 per month), but a number of print volumes are now available as well through major publisher Dupuis. I’m not sure what that says, if anything, about the success of the subscription model.

Anyways, if you’re looking to order some stuff from amazon.ca (everyone’s preferred online French comics retailer, of course), it’s a great way to discover some new cartoonists in a format that, at least for me, was less hit or miss than a normal anthology.
