An obvious but essential element of concentrated work on a single project is how your subconscious mind begins to suggest ideas. It’s rare but really nice when it does happen. Just a page, a scene, a phrase here and there. A true reward for staying focused.
I’m reaching about two months of work on this comic, and I can feel myself losing focus. It’ll be time to put it aside soon, probably. At least for a little while.
