Jake Grubman, proprietor of the excellent online shop All the Old Poisons, and I started a podcast. It’s called Off Register. The first episode is an interview with Madeleine Jubilee Saito, because of course when you start a podcast you begin by interviewing a friend. Get your feet wet. Ease in slowly.
This episode is a discussion of Boxers & Saints, a comic by Gene Yang that Madeleine selected. Future episodes might replicate this book club format, be more traditional interviews, or something else. To the extent that we have any concrete goals here it’s just to conduct interesting conversations about interesting comics.
